Story
Produced by Guadalupe Bautista in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, this coffee comes from a region where coffee supports much of the local economy. Guadalupe manages two farms, Finca Alejandrina and Finca La Vega. Finca Alejandrina spans 14 hectares, with just over 13 planted with Bourbon, Caturra, and Green and Red Pache varieties.
For her washed lots, ripe cherries are picked and depulped the same day, then fermented for 40 hours and washed three times. The coffee dries on concrete patios for 6–10 days, depending on the weather.
